Here is the whole of the Secret Santa Generator pricing: drawing names is free and stays free, for any group from 3 to 200 people. The only paid extra is the Event Pass, a one-time $4.99 for one event that lets everyone in the group send anonymous messages.

What stays free

Everything you need to run a Secret Santa draw costs nothing: drawing names for 3 to 200 people, one private link per person, exclusions for couples and housemates, avoiding last year's pairs, wishlists and private shipping addresses, adding or removing people after the draw, printed slips with QR codes, and the printable gift tags and reveal cards. Nobody needs an account or an email address.

What the Event Pass adds

With an Event Pass, everyone in that one group can send anonymous messages from their own private page:

to the person they drew, to ask about sizes, allergies or whether they already have something;
to their own Secret Santa, to answer, drop a hint or say thank you after the exchange.

Messages are signed "Your Secret Santa" or show the name of the person you drew, never who wrote them. The organizer page never shows them, so the organizer stops being the go-between. People see new messages the next time they open their link; nothing is emailed.

How to turn the Event Pass on

Open the organizer page of your event, or your own Secret Santa link, and choose "Turn on for this group" under Event Pass. After you pay, you come back to the same page with the pass on for everyone in the group. One pass covers one event. You can also buy a pass here and use its code on your event later.

Paying for the Event Pass

Price: $4.99 per event, paid once. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Checkout: payment is handled by our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake (waffo.ai), which takes the payment, works out any sales tax or VAT and sends your receipt. We never see your card details.
Delivery: the pass turns on as soon as your payment goes through, and we email you an Event Pass code so you can use it from another device.

Event Pass refunds

An Event Pass code you haven't used on any event yet can be refunded within 14 days of buying it. A pass that has been turned on for an event is not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise; the free draw, links and wishlists keep working whatever happens. The details are in our refund policy and terms of service.
