About Secret Santa Generator

Secret Santa Generator is an independent, free tool for drawing names for Secret Santa, Kris Kringle and similar gift exchanges. It isn't affiliated with any retailer or gift company.

You enter names and a few details, the draw runs on our server, and every participant gets a private link that shows only their own match, so nobody has to sign up or hand over an email address. The draw is random and fair: names are shuffled with a cryptographically random seed, and any shuffle that breaks a rule (someone drawing themselves, an exclusion, a repeat from last year) is thrown away, so every valid assignment is equally likely. Event data is deleted automatically after the exchange.

The core tool is free and will stay free. To cover running costs, our guide pages may later show ads or affiliate links to gift ideas; affiliate links are always labeled on the page where they appear.

Questions, bug reports or ideas are welcome through the contact page.
